Marilyn Moran-Townsend of Fort Wayne Honored with United Way Bill Latz Award for Leadership

Fort Wayne businesswoman and community volunteer, Marilyn Moran-Townsend, was honored with United Way of Allen County's Bill Latz Award for Leadership on May 17, 2011.  The award was presented during United Way's annual leadership reception at the Lincoln Financial Event Center at Parkview Field in downtown Fort Wayne.


The Bill Latz Award is given only when a volunteer has provided extraordinary leadership and service to United Way of Allen County. Recipients will have provided 20 or more years of service to United Way, will be major donors for many years, and will have made other exemplary contributions to the organization. Previous winners include Harriet and Richard Inskeep, Dick Doermer, and Ian and Mimi Rolland.
